ABOUT GRASSROOTS LAWN CARE SERVICE
Established in 2005, GrassRoots Lawn Service was founded by Jay and Melodie Brown. Jay went from working on the grounds of a local college to joining an established national lawn care company. Realizing that he wanted to be involved with customers on a more personal level than possible at such a large company, Jay decided to start his own lawn care business. Now, Jay provides his customers with quality lawn mowing and treatment results while still holding his ethics to a higher standard.
As the company has continued to grow, Josh and Kyle, Jay's and Melodie's sons, have joined the lawncare business. Likewise, the service area has expanded to include all of Lebanon County and various parts of Berks County, Dauphin County, and Lancaster County.

Coming from the world of corporate lawn care, Jay established GrassRoots Lawn Service in 2005 after he decided that he wanted to have a one-on-one relationship with customers without having to meet a quota. This philosophy is still kept in mind today as Jay makes sure that all technicians make themselves readily available to our customers.
Melodie works together with Jay to keep the daily operations at GrassRoots Lawn Service running smoothly. She is usually behind the scenes, ensuring that the customers are well taken care of and that the crew has everything they need to get the job done. On the weekends, you can often spot Melodie on the job site helping the crew out.
After graduating from Lock Haven University where he still holds many records in baseball, Josh began his career in the lawn care field where his great personality and understanding of people is a major asset. When not working, Josh enjoys following his daughters Madyson and Kirstin in all their athletic and scholastic endeavors and coaches baseball for cedar crest high school.
